Lindy Small, Principal of Lindy Small Architecture, grew up in New Jersey and has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years. She earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Lindy has been an adjunct professor in the Architecture Department at the University of California, Berkeley, and at California College of the Arts in San Francisco. She has been widely published, and has received several AIA awards for her projects.
Lindy is an avid swimmer, snowboarder, tennis player and bike rider. She has swum from the Golden Gate Bridge to the Bay Bridge, and has participated in numerous long-distance bike rides. Lindy and her husband have three children and live in a house that Lindy designed.
